woven wire cloth The Plain Weave is the most commonly used and simplest wire cloth weave. Each warp wire ( wire running-parallel to length of cloth ) passes alternately over and under the wires running traversely through the cloth ( fill or shoot wires ) at 90 degree angles. It has an extremely wide range of applications.
stainless steel wire cloth The Dutch Weave is produced by the use of coarse mesh ( mesh wire, woven wire mesh, wire mesh basket ) in the warp and a fine mesh with relatively smaller wire in the fill. This weave results in greater strength with very fine openings and is primarily used as a filter cloth. The shape and position of the openings aid particle retention and increase filter cake formation.
twilled weave wire cloth The Twilled Weave is produced by passing each fill wire alternately over and under two warp wires. The pattern is staggered on successive warp wires, giving the appearance of parallel diagonal lines. This weave allows the use of proportionately heavier wires in a particular mesh count ( number of openings per lineal inch ) than is possible in plain weave. This cloth has a wide application capable of supporting greater loads and finer filtrations.
woven wire cloth The Twilled Dutch Weave is produced by a combination of the features of the Dutch Wea-ve and the Twilled Weave. Fill wires are passed alternately over and under two warp wire-s forming a fine mesh in one direction and a coarse mesh ( mesh wire, woven wire mes-h, wire mesh basket ) in the other. This type of weave is capable of supporting greater loads than the Dutch Weave, with finer openings than the Twilled Weave. It is used in applications where the filtering of heavy material is necessary.
Plain Dutch Weave is similar to plain weave, while the warp wires are thicker and lie closer to each other. This of woven wire mesh is mainly used as industrial filter cloth and apparatus of separation

Stainless wire cloth Type 304: is an austenitic, non-magnetic, thermally nonhardenable economical stainless steel.It resists most oxidizing acids, withstands all ordinary rusting, and is immune to foodstuffs, sterilizing solutions, most organic chemicals and dyestuffs, and a wide variety of organic chamicals, but resists poorly halogen acids.
Stainless wire cloth Type 310: offers superior corrosion resistance to Type 304 in many enviornments and is noted for oxidation resistance up to 2000º F.
Stainless wire cloth Type 316: is similiar to Type 304 but distiguished primarily by the addition of molybdenum which significantly increases it's corrosion resistance.Type 316 can withstand corrosive attack by sodium and calcium brines, hypochlorite solutions, phosphoric, sulfurous, and acetic acids, and the hostile environment of the body when used for implant.
Stainless wire cloth Type 321: is an austenitic steel suitable for intermittent heating and cooling to temperatures between 800/1650º F.
Stainless wire cloth Type 347: is similar to Type 321 but with the addition of columbium and tantalum and the absence of titanium
Stainless wire cloth Type 410: is a martenistic alloy that is hardenable similar to regular carbon and alloy steels.
Stainless wire cloth Type 430: is a magnetic, ferritic stainless steel that because it contains no nickel and slightly less chromium, is less resistant to corrosion than Type 304. It is however, less costly and resists attack from nitric acid.
